to Hornbill camp

The Hornbill Camp is situated on the banks of the Periyar River and overlooks the low land forests of  Dr. Salim Ali Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary. Developed in harmony with the surrounding nature and local community, this eco-adventure camp provides unique adventure travel experiences for the visitors thronging this area. Hornbill Camp is an adventure activities-based camp.

After breakfast drive to Hornbill camp, Thattekkad for an activity filled day excursion.  

 

Built in harmony with the environment, without renouncing comfort the eco Lodges has a strategical location for those who really want to be near nature. With its enviably preserved surroundings, is the ideal place for adventure lovers and general nature lovers, who are looking for a comfortable place, and several activity options that have to do with the natural wonders of Kerala.

 

On arrival, to the huge waterfront open restaurant called gazebo, enjoy your welcome drink. Listen to the songs of a thousand birds and watch the true colours of nature. It would indeed be the ultimate experience to watch the rain forest from the gazebo on the banks of the gently flowing river Periyar and loosen up in the calm atmosphere provided by the evergreen forest

 

Now it’s time for some activities. You are free to do the activities at any time you want. However it is recommended to do the activities in small groups.
